War and peace

War and peace,
Totally different. Peace is hard to find, Like diamonds, gold or silver in the mine. War instead,is like air. Easy to find, hard to deny. War is not great, We sacrifice our lives. For our country, We must stay strong and fight. Many men march their way, From the trenches to their grave. War is a thriller, A horrible movie nobody wants to see. No one is safe, Not when war is going on. No one will remember me, Neither will my country. My friends and family, I miss them like crazy. I lost my life, Now I am in my grave. To this place, forever am I tied. We, soldiers who lie here, we were all brave This dreadful war leads away the peace. War kills everyone, just like an awful disease. War doesn't know, How much it hurts. It is not great, Don’t trust the lies you’ve heard. War tears family apart, Just like us. We were happy, Before we took the guns. A nice talk with the neighbour, Some laughing with your friends. That will never happen again, For war made an end Sometimes I cry, Somewhere deep inside. I don’t want to hide, But neither to fight. Peace, oh peace, Will you come back and stay? Peace, please take away, The war, I pray. My mother and father, Please don’t cry. Because… Maybe one day, When war will end, We will be happy, And reunite again… |
